ನರೇನ್ ಕುನ್ಯೋಡಿ ಅವರು ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ವೇರ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್. Cisco Systems ನಲ್ಲಿ Engineering Manager ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ೨೫ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಬೇ  ಏರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದು KKNC , OSAAT ಹೀಗೆ  ಹಲವಾರು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ Non-Profit ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 2006 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ, 2007 ಹಾಗು 2008 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮದರ್ಶಿಗಳ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೆ ಕೆ ಏನ್ ಸಿ ಯ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಮಿತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಆನಂತರ ಕೆ ಕೆ ನ್ ಸಿ ಧರ್ಮಧರ್ಶಿಗಳ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು 2016 ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡದ ವೈಸ್ ಛೇರ್ಮನ್ ಆಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು 2017 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಛೇರ್ಮನ್ ಆಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೂರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ದೊರಕಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಅಪಾರ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದೊಡಗಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಒಡನಾಟವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

 

Naren Kunhody is a Software Engineer by profession and is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Cisco Systems. He has been a resident of the Bay area for over 25 years and has held executive positions at several local Non-Profit Organizations like KKNC and OSAAT. In 2006, he served as the President of KKNC (Kannada Koota of Northern California). In 2016 & 2017 as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the KKNC board of trustees he spearheaded several long-term projects and managed investments that benefit KKNC. The love and friendship that he has received from the Kannada Community motivate him to continue his association with local Indian communities & Kannadigas in particular. Naren has joined the Kannada Kali team as an advisor and has been a source of inspiration and support to the entire Kannada Kali team.

ಪದ್ದು ಮೇಲನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಅವರ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ಚಿಕ್ಕನಾಯಕನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ತುಮಕೂರು ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿದೆ . ಅವರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ಒಡನಾಟ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷದ್ದು. ಕೆ ಕೆ ಎನ್ ಸಿ ಯ ಧರ್ಮದರ್ಶಿಗಳ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು (೨೦೧೮ ಮತ್ತು ೨೦೧೯) ಹಾಗು ಕನ್ನಡಾಭಿಮಾನಿ.  ೨೦೦೪ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆ ಕೆ ಎನ್ ಸಿ ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ-ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆ ಕೆ ಎನ್ ಸಿ ಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ "ಸ್ವರ್ಣ ಸೇತು" ವಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿ ಸಹ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ೨೦೦೬ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಲ್ಪನೆ , ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮತ್ತು   ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ರೂಪ ಕೊಡಲು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕ, ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು, ಅದರ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆಗೆ ಸಹ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಶ್ರಮವಹಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ೨೦೧೮ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಶಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಈ ಕನಸು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದ ಫಲವೇ  ಇಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಎವರ್ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಶಾಖೆ !!. ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕನಸುಗಳು, ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಎವರ್ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಶಾಖೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕರಾಗಿರುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಎವರ್ಗ್ರೀನ್  ತಂಡದ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ. 

 

ಇವರು ಸಿಸ್ಕೊ ಸಿಸ್ಟಮ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Paddu Melanahalli hails from Chikkanayakanahalli, near Tumkur. He is currently working as a Director of Engineering at Cisco Systems. An ardent devotee of the Kannada language.  He is one of the founder members of KKNC Kannada kali initiative. He conceptualized and played a significant role in starting the Kannada Kali program in the bay area and also provided the required leadership to bring structure to the program. He also wrote the very first set of Kannada Kali books in 2006 and also part of book authoring committee, review team and has extensively worked on refining the Kannada Kali curriculum.

He has been serving as the member of the board of trustees of KKNC for the last 2 years (2018 and 2019). He also served as a joint secretary of KKNC executive committee during 2004 and chief editor of "Swarna setu" annual magazine of KKNC. He also played a significant role to expand Kannada kali to two other centers and as a result of this effort is our evergreen Kannada kali branch! With his grand vision and ideas for the future of overall development of Kannada and the Kannada Kali school, he is an asset to the Kannada kali and Kannada community in the bay area. Kannada kali Evergreen team is fortunate to have him as the Advisor.
