ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪ್ರಿಯದರ್ಶಿನಿ ಮೂಲತಃ ಮೈಸೂರಿನವರು ಸಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ವೇರ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಆಪಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ Product Manager ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ೨೦ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಬೇ ಏರಿಯಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಒಡನಾಟ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ೨೦೦೩, ೨೦೦೪ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ 'ಸ್ವರ್ಣಸೇತು' ಸಂಪಾದಕ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ೨೦೧೪ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  

ಮಾತೃ ಭಾಷೆಯಾದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಒಡನಾಟ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡುವುದೆಂದರೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷದ ವಿಷಯ. ೨೦೦೨-೨೦೦೪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ತರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಶುರುಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು ಸುಮಾರು  ೨ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ಸುಮಾರು ವರ್ಷ ಚಿನ್ಮಯ ಮಿಷನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ತರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.  ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಎವರ್ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಶಾಖೆಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡಮ್ಮನ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಲು ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ.

Prathibha Priyadarshini is basically from Mysuru. A software engineer by profession she currently works as a Product Manager at Apple Inc.  Prathibha has been a long-time resident of Bay area and has been very actively involved in KKNC, OSAAT, and other local organizations. During 2002 & 2003 Prathibha served in the editorial board of the Kannada Koota magazine Swarnasethu.

The love and friendship that he has received from the Kannada Community motivates her to continue her association with local Indian communities & Kannadigas in particular. Prathibha enjoys working with the children and is very passionate about teaching Kannada, preserve and pass on the Kannada language and culture to the next generation. In 2002-2004 she had started kannada classes for kids in the bay area. Later she ran the Kannada classes at the Chinmaya Mission San Jose for several years.

As a founding member of Kannada Kali evergreen branch, she is currently serving as the Head of the School.

ವನಿತ ಬೇಲೂರ್ ಅವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹಲವಾರು ಚಟುವಟಿಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ   ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಂದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಇಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಒಡನಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ೨೦೦೬ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ  ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದಾಗ, ಇವರು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಆಡಳಿತ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ , ಖಜಾಂಚಿಯಾಗಿ  ಮತ್ತು ಹಲವಾರು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ, ಕನ್ನಡಮ್ಮನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಿಸ್ಕೋ ಸಿಸ್ಟಮ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Vanitha Belur is a Kannada lover and involved in many Kannada activities in the Bay area as well as in Bangalore. She is one of the founder teachers of Kannada kali when it was started in 2006. She loves to interact with little children at Kannada kali class and enjoy their company! Professionally, She is a technologist, works for Cisco Systems as a senior technical project manager in SD-WAN area.

She is a founder member of  KKNC Kannada kali - Evergreen Branch and part of the core team. She is also serving as a treasurer and helps in day to day operations of the school!

ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಜಕ್ಕ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗು ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಕೂಡ. ಇವರ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ. Cisco Systems ನಲ್ಲಿ Product Manager ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ  ನಮ್ಮ ಎವರ್ಗ್ರೀನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿ  ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ HSS ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಬಹಳ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. KKNC ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ತಂಡದ ಶುರುವಾದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

Viswanath Jakka is basically from Davanagere and works as a Product Manager at Cisco Systems. He also serves as the Kannada Kali Core team member and has part of the local Kannada Kali team from its inception. He is also actively involved in the HSS chapter. 

Naresh

ತನ್ಮಯೀ ಅವರು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಕೇಷನ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಪಧವೀಧರೆ. ಓದು ಮುಗಿದ ನಂತರ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ technical writer ಆಗಿ ಹಲವಾರು IT ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿಡುವಿನ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ sketching  ಮತ್ತು drawing ಮುಂತಾದ ಹವ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ  ಬಾಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನೈ ನ ಹೊರನಾಡು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಹಾಗು ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗಳಿಗೆ 5 ವರ್ಷ ಆದಂತೆ, ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳು ಕಲಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ  ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಶುರುಮಾಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ನಲ್ಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅವಳ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.

Thanmayee has a degree in electronics and communication engineering and has worked for several muti-national companies in Bengaluru for many years. She is currently living in the bay area. In her spare time she enjoys sketching and drawing. She grew up in Chennai India as a non resident Kannadiga watching her parents actively getting involved in local Kannada Sangha. Growing up outside Karnataka increased her love for her mother tongue. Raising her daughters in bay area she wanted to make sure her kids develop the same love for the language. With that in mind when her daughter turned 5 she started teaching her Kannada at home and also expanded it to teach many more Kannadiga kids that lived in the apartment complex. 

ಅದಿತಿ ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿನಾಲಕ್ಕೂ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಬೇ ಏರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದರು.

ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ HR ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕತಕ್ ನೃತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಿತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಪುಟಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ  ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ , ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಾರು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
